By way of updates...

Maya's breathing has stabilized and she is now rooming with me. We anticipate being discharged tomorrow. Since she was in NICU, she started out being fed intravenously, then was fed by bottle, much to my chagrin. We are looking forward to getting started nursing her immediately.

Little Princess is thoroughly fascinated with this real baby, very different from her cute, but lifeless dolls. Big sisters are in love with her, too.

Thank you all for your prayers and encouraging words. They mean more than words can say. When we get home posts will be pretty sporadic as we settle into our new routines but I will keep you all posted and in a few weeks I'm sure my blog will be back to its politically incorrect self.

On a totally unrelated note: My blog pal Single Mom (actually, she's my phone friend now, too) is getting married in less than a month. Since she will no longer BE a single mom, her blog name needs to change and she's stumped.
